Locally grown perennials, annuals, herbs and veggies will be available rain or shine!
Come early for the best selection! All proceeds go to our scholarship program and for beautification projects around Strafford.
Mission Statement
The Strafford Garden Club is dedicated to civic beautification, through plantings and seasonal decorations; sharing and expanding members’ knowledge and education in horticulture, conservation and ecology through speakers, field trips and workshops; and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow gardeners.
Strafford Garden Club Meetings
Meetings are generally held April through December on the first Monday of the month. Executive Board Meeting is at 12:30pm, General Meeting at 1:00pm, and Programs begin at 2:00pm. We generally meet at the Bow Lake Grange Hall, but venue may change for some meetings. See our calendar for upcoming meetings.
After the Plant Sale on May 25th, our next Garden Club meeting will be June 3rd, Birdscaping - Landscaping for the Birds. This conitnues our gathering information about native plants with the emphasis on those beneficial to birds. Advanced Master Gardener Ruth Droescher will present the Extension program.
